As a Staff NLP Applied Scientist at Walmart, I lead a company's business unit Generative AI efforts in conversational commerce and have previously led the development of our conversational AI-NLP platform. Before joining Walmart, I completed my Master's in Computer Science with a focus on natural language processing at Stony Brook University. My research interests include conversational AI, NLP, and context awareness in virtual assistant tasks.
I have also previously worked at Samsung Research India as a member of the Bixby NLU team, where I worked on intent detection for the Bixby personal assistant. I graduated with a Computer Science degree from Osmania University in 2014.
